Welcome to the RTM website. RTM v1.04 is the latest version of Platform's workload management dashboard for LSF version 6.2 and later. This site contains everything you need to use RTM, including software and documentation (links below).

Requirements
- A CentOS 5 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 supported machine with a minimum of 2GB RAM and 40GB disk space. (a For a list of supported hardware for RHEL 5, visit here.
- A VMware or Xen virtual machine may also be used. For Xen, full virtualization environment must be set.
- A LSF cluster must be accessible by RTM.
- The Platform RTM host is a LSF client of that LSF cluster.
- DHCP server (optional) - RTM server will automatically complete network setup if a DHCP server is on the same network. Otherwise, network settings can be configured manually when installation is completed.
Download
RTM is distributed in an ISO CD image. The image is bootable on any x86 or x64 hardware or virtual machine supporting CentOS 5 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. Image size is about 500MB. md5 checksum is provided below to verify the integrity of the download.

Alternatively, images can be obtained from ftp.platform.com under the distrib/1.04 directory with the following credentials: rtmuser/$Get*rtm

To recap, here are the key messages from the tutorial:
- Insert the CD into the CD drive or provide the ISO image to the virtual machine host and start the machine.
- Follow the installation prompts to install the Platform RTM.
- Log on to the Platform RTM console using the following default credentials:
Console and ssh: root:admin
RTM Management Console: admin:admin
RTM Console URL: http://IP address assigned by DHCP/cacti - From your web browser, open the URL http://IP address assigned/cacti
- Go to Admin Tab to setup license for LSF poller
- Go to Console Tab, under Clusters -> Add to add a cluster
- Add RTM server as a LSF client host to each LSF cluster you collect data from
- To add a chart for a specific host, follow the steps here
